As an American who can vote in 2008, I have to tell you that Ron Paul is my favorite candidate.
At the same time, I can’t believe that his supporters would make such a video that ambiguously features Fidel and Che before unambiguously featuring nuclear annihilation.
Worse, it’s bad strategy to have anyone use the words “death to …” in a political message. I mean… this is the United States, not a madrassa.
Were I Ron Paul, I would be a hypocrite to call myself a libertarian and then to decry such ‘support’.
But what’s a candidate to do short of trying to have a sit down with this ‘artist’ and saying “Look… just how we don’t like the idea of needless war, we shouldn’t be saying ‘death to’ British Petroleum et al.”

I found a lot of the lyrics funny, but yeah, “death to” is pretty extreme. Perhaps the words he was looking for was “down with”, which is a different thing.
