Columnist and Asian supremacist sentenced to therapy

August 13th, 2007 . by Matt

For threatening a white neighbor with a hammer.

A former columnist and self-described Asian supremacist who applauded the Virginia Tech slayings has been sentenced to a year of mental health treatment for waving a hammer at a neighbor’s face and threatening to kill her and her family.

Kenneth Eng, 24, of Bayside, New York, pleaded guilty in Queens County Court on Thursday to an indictment charging him with attempted assault and harassment over the incident last April.

Eng was arrested May 9 for threatening the neighbor, Marissa Addison, 29, and her mother, Jane Rosovich, who were standing with their two dogs on their lawn in front of their Queens home.

Eng is accused of yelling at Addison, saying, “If your dog bites me, I will kill you and your family,” and then swinging a hammer at her.

Last February, Eng was fired from the San Francisco-based weekly newspaper AsianWeek for writing a column titled “Why I Hate Blacks.”

Three months later, in a Village Voice interview, Eng gloried in the slayings of 32 students and teachers at Virginia Tech and fancifully speculated that his own writings might have inspired the killer, Seung-Hui Cho.

Eng also told the New York weekly that his own plan for a similar killing spree at New York University was aborted only because he could not afford a weapon.

After his sentencing on Thursday, federal authorities produced an arrest warrant and took Eng into custody. The nature of that case was not immediately known.

His attorney, Joel Dranove, of Manhattan, said he expected Eng to appear in Brooklyn federal court on Friday, but had no further comment.

He is a pretty nutty guy, as this interview on TV reveals.

    .

I think more then a few Korean commentators on this blog have similar beliefs about racial superiority.

    Pawikirogi.

The “payback” justification for racial supremacists is primitive, childish and the least productive. I’ve never heard a white/azn/black pride proponent show any reasoning above a 10-year-old’s level for their silly philosophy.

This guy wins them all because he added that outlandish rambling about the dragons (wtf??).

    Talk about your bat-shit crazy.

Oh my god, it all makes so much sense: the dragons! THE DRAGONS!!!

Crap, now I’m a racist God of the universe too.

Lol, he doesn’t like anybody. Racism and discrimination do exist, but not the sense he is dreaming about. I think he suffered what he suffered because of who he is. Blaming discrimination for everything is just a pathetic excuse for incompetent human being.

Strange, because I was thinking of you when I say this thread on the main forum.

Finally that crap Eng is put where he belongs. Thank Heavens.

Not bad Tigg, it only took you three days to come up with that insult. Tigg, when have I ever made a comment that one race was better then another? In fact, I often say that I totally disagree with the Corean position of ‘racial superiority’.

You’re right. I don’t remember seeing you writing “one race was better than another,” but you wrote about one specific race being worse than others plenty. Is that the same thing? LOL…

Garlic face shows how idiotic he is once again. Btw, why are you so obsessed with Koreans? You obviously have a multitude of mental conditions and it seems you use your obsession with Koreans to deal with them… lol

Hey, you guys shouldn’t bug GarlicButter about his multitude of mental conditions. He can’t control them.

Comments like that should be removed. If you disagree with me, then state why. Otherwise keep your childish comments to yourself.

Btw, why are you so obsessed with Koreans?

Many of the topics on this blog are related to Korea, and many readers have some interest in Korea, and so I use this forum to discuss Koera related issues. The real question is why are you so obsessed with me?
    .
Now go crawl back under your rock.

Lets see, first tigg, then KJ, and Blian, and in the rear is Phile. When the Koreans start piling on, you can always count on a sellout like Phile to get his cheep shots in. Phile doesn’t have the courage to go it alone.
    .
If anybody is interested here is some backround information on good old Phile. (lol, I don’t expect too many hits on these links)

LOL. It’s funny because this topic had NOTHING to do with Koreans, but obviously your low self-esteem, insecurity and other mental disorder constantly brings you back to your obsession and inferiority complex with Koreans. Does bashing Koreans make you feel like you have balls garlic face? Does it help make the tears stop in your pathetic life? lol
Keep doing it man… Most posters and I already feel sorry for ya. For us, you are merely childish amusement and I’m sure we’re not the only ones who feel that way. lol xD

To be honest, Garlic Face is the only one here who can really relate to this guy. I think to many people, you are just as foolish as Kenneth Eng. lol

  17. comment number 17 by: T_K

To be on the safe side, it’s best to abandon ethnic pride of any variety. Without it, Eng might be just another depressed loser.
You can’t have ethnic hatred without ethnic pride.

Sweet baby Hello Kitty… does this guy throw off a serious Chuck Manson vibe, or what?

  20. comment number 20 by: GarlicBreath

LOL. It’s funny because this topic had NOTHING to do with Koreans

This topic has NOTHING to do with me, yet you can’t seem to let go of your obsession with me Blian.
    .
Oh and you are wrong, Koreas do have a tendency to think of themselves with a “Korean supremacy” perspective. So I was on topic, and you, with your obsession of me, were off topic again Blian.

LOL yeah that was pretty weird stuff.

Of course, it’s actually three interviews in one.
He’s getting asked about the column, he explains his racism and he plugs his novel. Too bad that he can’t give these interviews one at a time and they get intermixed in the confusion.

I wouldn’t really put much faith in the writing of a guy who can’t follow a line of thought for more than a sentence at a time. He doesn’t seem stupid though, maybe he just suffers from Asperger’s or the like.

i guess he doesnt understand the ethnic relationship. we know already, korea is a homogenous country, not like US.so he should learn more…..
