    Great work Gerry!
One word explains the Korean nationalism on the Takeshima/Dokdo territorial disputes. That is “村10部(one hundred percent ostracism exercised by the villagers).”
I know, I know, there does not exist such a terminology as “村10部” in the Japanese language. Where there is no idea, there is no word to describe. The correct term is “村8部 (80% of the exclusion practiced by the villagers.)
In the pre-modern era, while the villagers kept out some of their members, they still helped each other in cases of house fire and funerals, hence the 80% of the ostracism.
Contrary to the Japanese, Koreans appear to exercise 村10部 with passion! Scaryyyy!
I will be happy to change my mind when anyone presents an example where some Koreans would acknowledge the fraudulence of their arguments on Takeshima/Dokdo issue.

Here’s a wonderful video by one of Korea’s most brilliant psychiatrists; Rhoda Hahn. Fascinating insight into the psychology behind the Liancourt Rocks saga.
