Korean Couple Murdered Outside Their Home in the Philippines

December 27th, 2007 . by Gerry-Bevers

What is especially tragic about these murders is that not only were the Korean couple murdered outside their home, but their children saw their father being stabbed.

There are a lot of great people in the Philippines, but there are also a lot of cold-hearted murderers who can be hired for less than $100. And what is really scary about the Philippines are the rumors that even the police are involved in some of these contract killings.

Whatever faults Korea may have, at least we do not have to worry about being shot outside our homes. I hope the angel of death quickly finds these stinking murderers and sends them to Hell to suffer for eternity.

Here is the SBS Korean language news report of these murders and others:

Here are some additional facts regarding the murders:

Mendoza said investigators were still digging for clues but robbery seems unlikely to be the motive of the three attackers, including two men wearing ski masks and camouflage pants and another wearing a baseball cap.

Money and other valuables were left untouched, but some items in the Korean family’s home were in disarray, indicating the assailants were searching for something, he added. There was no sign of forcible entry.

He quoted the couple’s 10-year-old daughter and nine-year-old son as saying they saw from their rooms the men hitting their father in the living room. Frightened, they hid, then heard shots.

According to the children, the mother and father were initially in the living room with the murderers so they might have been killed in the living room as well. The bodies were then taken outside and placed on the pavement next to the residence. That suggests the murderers wanted the bodies to be found. Usually mobsters do that to warn others to think twice before engaging in the same sort of activities the victims were engaging in. Maybe the Korean couple became entangled in some sort of criminal activity, possibly blackmail, and the killers were looking for photos, videos, financial statements etc.

Methinks they were human trafficking brokers on the side and the intruders were searching for the passports/visas/whatever of their sisters who were probably sold by the couple to brokers in Korea or Japan.

Errol, it’s true! I have heard similar stories. I also heard that the killing was because the Korean couple (not married) were part of some organ harvesting ring.
