Korean prostitution bosses demand return of Korean prostitutes (and their money) from foreign climes

September 26th, 2012 . by Errol

Workers and bosses in the Korean sex industry are demanding the scrapping or revision of anti-prostitution laws.

Since the enactment of the anti-prostitution laws in 2004, tens of thousands of Korean male and female prostitutes have left Korea to work in Japan, the USA, Canada and Australia.

Prostitution is legal in some parts of the last three countries, reducing the need for pimps, bongo van drivers, fruit cutter-uppers and waiters; this enables Korean prostitutes to retain a larger share of their earnings, than they would be allowed to keep by their Korean bosses.
